Actually, it is extremely disturbing that many of you out there are oblivious to the major signs of procrastination. Read what I have included below, and hopefully with that you will become more educated in this area.

Procrastination is a type of avoidance behaviour which is characterised by deferment of actions or tasks to a later time. It is often cited by psychologists as a mechanism for coping with the anxiety associated with starting or completing any task or decision. [1]

For the person procrastinating this may result in stress, a sense of guilt, the loss of personal productivity, the creation of crisis and the chagrin of others for not fulfilling one's responsibilities or commitments. While it is normal for individuals to procrastinate to some degree, it becomes a problem when it impedes normal functioning. Chronic procrastination may be a sign of an underlying psychological or physiological disorder.
By the way, vaccines for ODD, as I have stated earlier, are now prohibited by New York State Federal Law. As a result, it can only be injected in a secluded area, where none of the authorities will be present. Please consult with me immeadiately.

Ok, i dunno what ur problem is Dr. shmoozy, shmozella, shmozini, or wtvr, but quit it w/ the vaccines, wil-ya?
and about the procrastinators, most ppl that do procrastinate r not mentally ill, so u have n/t 2worry about.

doc. why do you write such long responses? Anyway work is sopposed to be timed out and the last minute is for touch-ups!! so then daydreamajo you should have done your report and then this last min. chacked it over and made sure you knew it well enough in order to present it to the class. and griffinrider you are definetly a grape! your organizaton skills might be a little low!! of course there are those times, once in a while, where you can leave things for the night before but other then that you shouldn't for at least 25 days of the month! if you even take vocabulary for a lesson, do you get the better marks when you crash the night before and memerize everything? or when you studied two nights before and reviewed the night before? i pick the second one. so do ya all get my piont?

BassRunner14 said...

No offence, I don't find it hard to figure out you're a girl, 'cause it's how to talk/write. All the girls I know sound lie you , too.

bassrunner, you think my writing sounds girly? i must say, that did make me laugh.

dorky, i actually tend to do well with cramming. it's fun, it's convinient, and i don't fail. usually. of course, i forget everything right after i tak ethe test, but oh, well! you win some, you lose some.

griffinrider said...

oh, and jake:
your sister? really?

ImitationRandomFactor said...

Bassrunner14,
what do you think i am?

dorkydoodle said...

well then griffinrider, the you just have to cram again for a final or a regent so just study and then you will keep the knowlege for longer!! i am not saying that is completely true cause sometimes i forget what i spent hours studing for.
everyone: why does it matter if you are a boy or girl? i mean, dudes, can't we keep a distance? we can all still go on this blog whether one is a girl or the other a boy!! do you catch what i am saying?

griffinrider said...

hey, i didn't say i was a girl or boy. though here's a hint: bassrunner's comment was very amusing.

ImitationRandomFactor said...

it actually does matter. some ppl think girls are smarter, ahem, ahem!

dorkydoodle said...

whoa, you arewrong about that!! it depends in which subjects!!! and i do find what bassrunner said about griffinrider amusing to cause, i think he/she is definetly like no other girl and definitally doesn't speak like the rest of the girls.

griffinrider said...

so, you think i'm a girl or not, dorky?

ImitationRandomFactor said...

i think ur a weirdo. and thats the end of that. simple.
(no offense of course!)

ImitationRandomFactor said...

hey guys,
wtvr happened to that strange dr.shmozini?
do u think i insulted him to much?
i hope not!
after all, i was just joking and he kept on babbling about these vaccines for ODD, so i guess i had no other choice but 2 put an end to it. do y'all agree w/ me?

This post really made me laugh. This is like the 4th blog post of yours I've actually read but their pretty interesting, and the discussion n the comments between all of you is pretty funny to read too. Though I think I've topped all of you on the procrastination. I have 4 math lessons, 3 science lessons, 4-5 history lessons, around 8 english lessons, and at least 7 reading lessons to do. I probably missed some but all well I'm screwed no matter how many more lessons I forgot to mention. See now I've had all to day and yesterday to get this done, and I have a bad feeling I won't actually get anything done till maybe 10(pm)and I'll most likely cram maybe 5 lessons in...*sighs*... saying I'm screwed is an understatement right about now, amazingly I'm completely calm even bored really. I should go maybe if I'm lucky I can force myself to do some work right now. I hate homschooling. L8r and Good Luck.
