Mhm. That's for sure. too bad some people don't seemto think so...
i agree!!!! people need to stop and think about what is going on in the world and how to change it. only a few people are making a difference worldwide when we should do all we can to help the world be a better place.
what we don;t understand is, our enemies are also human(in my case not necessarily. don't ask,). They are like us, and until we understand that, we're always going to be cocky and make the fight harder.
What I do to win is, I become an animal. Do whatever it takes to survive. Instinct takes over, and I'm not thinking civilized anymore. I'm thinking of ways to survive and protect the ones I love. It may be low and horrible to become that way, but it's the best way I find to destroy my enemies.
Or alienation, wither way.

if everyone i tell this to agrees, how does that explain the sorry state of the world?
the human world is a pathetic one, yet one that humans need and crave. if that's what it takes to become a civilazation, then (as adeen said), humans should be animals. and yes, animal life is cruel, but not so cruel as humans (or others...) can be. yet all humans feel the need to do these things, humans crave a true civilazation, which is everything you listed. it's the human mind that tricks even us sometimes.
Hmm. It's a fantastic idea but I don't think it's going to be followed any time soon. =[

The world to some people is a large trash can. We should treat it like our friends. Also, who cares what color u are?! As long as you are kind, then others will be kind to you.
Amen, AnimalGal! i've been trying to tell people that for years. it doesn't matter what you look like, where you come from, what your religion is. a person is a person.
on the subject of animals, no, we are NOT animals. we are people. we should not act like animals. and we should not treat eachother like animals.

one thing to remember, though: those things will most likely never be completely gone. they're part of human nature. we have to learn to be a bit more forgiving. the most someone can do is their best, right?
