do you know which famous individual first asked this question?

and more importantly, do you have an answer?

well i dont know the answer and i dont know who asked it. but the quesion seems familer.

care to tell or do you even know the answer?

Zetsu said...

EXACTLY!!!
Why did the war start in the first place, anyway???

xny94x said...

I think the answer is because eventually one country will decide that enough people have died and they will give up their idea or whatever they are fighting for

do you REALLY want to know who was the first person to ask this? if you're a comic book fan, you'll know.

and i don't know the answer. that's why i asked you guys. actually, i don't think there is an answer. i don't think it solves the world's problems at all.

well i don't know if there is an exact answer to that but my answer would be ; killing doesn't solve any problems. it's exactly like my schoolmates fighting over sweets - except - fighting over sweets is funny to watch and being on a battlefield is rather gory - eww...

btw griffinrider, u probably went on Blog Crazy which is my brother's. mine was blog of destiny but now i renamed it to blog of Chee and taken my brother's off. so no more mess ups :D

what r all you guys talking about? i am so funciused! what war?

griffinrider said...

war in general, dorkydoodle. sometimes, i just don't see the point of it.

and the one who originally asked that question is calvin. you know, from the calvin and hobbes comic books.

Sometimes there is no point. I don't think going to war will help anything, it will just add to the worlds problems and cause other countries to have grudges against us. Some might say that we are trying to help the people, but killing them is not helping them and there must be some other way besides violence. I hope in the next presidential election we can get a good president who will stop this war and do the right thing.

good question

griffinrider said...

how did war start in the first place? with most creatures, they do everything they can in order to make sure that their race continues to survive. but with humans it is the exact opposite- it's like we're doing everything we can in order to kill ourselves out. i just don't get it!

you know, i think i like this picture better.

ummm ghandi? and it doesn't just tears apart the people a little more. And supposively, the less fighters an opponent has the "weaker" they are and for this reason the other opponent has the power to dominate or control the other party better. Now that's the reasoning I think people use to create war. I don't know about you but that logic seems right...yet flawed.

Mella said...

Oh wait I think I know who asked it.

I know! I just can't put my finger on it.

Darn.

Okay, first off, this war started for this reason. Don't any of you remember that awful thing called 9-11? The terrorists are the ones who want us dead. We have to protect ourselves against them. I know President Bush made the right choice in protecting us, and we need to support him. It would be wonderful if the world would be peaceful, but unfortunately, wars are gonna come up until the end of time. And to xingu, ya, there are a ton of idiots, but the men and women who go to war are brave, good people who want to fight for their country, protect their family members, and if you don't support them, then you're completely un-American. You can hate the President, but our troops are just doing their job, and I salute them for that. Every war starts for a reason, whether good or bad. There are always opposing sides, and usually, one of them has a good and right reason for joining the war. You guys just seem to have the same answer as the grown-ups, the ones who at one point were like, "Ya! Let's get the bad-guys!" And are now like, "Well, it's okay if we leave and let it happen again, I mean, it's not that bad if a terrorist suddenly attacks again." If we pull out, we're totally done for. Plain truth of the matter.

your answer is.......drum roll please.........IT DOSENT (IN FACT HOW DOSE ANYONE KILLING ANYONE HELP ANYBODY) grr paople bug me

griffinrider said...

mii maker, i wasn't talking about this war specifically. i'm talking about the idea in general that people murder eachother.

Jo, Aeron, Skyy, Brandon, and Bella said...

hmmm. i think i agree with everyone, kind of. including mii maker, including chee.

i don't think that WAR, in and of itself, solves any problems. except maybe killing off everyone who doesn't agree with you, but sorry, that's not worth it.

wars get started, though, because people are willing to stand up for what they believe in, and protect others who can't stand up for themselves. and i believe in that, protecting others and standing up for what you believe in, strongly. i think it becomes a problem when it's no longer about your beliefs.

It becomes a problem when it's about YOU being RIGHT. if people only fought for causes they sincerely believed where good and right and just, there wouldn't be nearly as much bloodshed in the world today, because that would go against what they were fighting for. but people are so determined to be RIGHT that they'll do anything, including murder on a massive basis. **coughNUTEXcough**

anyway, i think at some points it is the right thing to be willing to physically fight for what you believe. hey, i've done it, i STILL do it on a regular basis. but i think it needs to be the LAST option. that we only fight when the other option is death of the innocent and loss of freedom for the weak. war for the sake of war, war for the sake of pride, war for the sake of selfish gain--these things are utterly and completely WRONG. and that's not my law. that's GOD speaking.

cuz, i'm sorry, i distinctly remember him saying two things--"you must NOT murder", and "love your neighbor as much as you love yourself". your neighbor is EVERYBODY. and yeah, his people went to war, and WON, but only when it was in His will, when they were fighting for the right things.

wow, wrote you a freaking novel. sorry.

flock on,
jo

yeah wat does soldiers killing soldiers solve? Answer : NOTHING! It just makes life harder for the families of people who were killed! And for the Mii Maker we have done wat we need to do in Iraq. We need to leave the freakin country alone so they can get on with their lives! Sorruy bout that griffinrider.
